9 Months!

Sweet girl, you are NINE months old! I am amazed at how much you are growing and changing every day. I am so blessed to be by your side to witness everything. Being your Mommy is the BEST gift I have ever been given. Your Daddy and I ADORE you. We talk all the time about the places we are going to take you and how much fun we are going to have. We want to give you everything, little one.

What you have been doing this last month..

You grew three more teeth!! You now have 5 total! Three on the bottom and two on the top. I can see where a few more are trying to come in.

We are still have issues with you not sleeping through the night. Hopefully once these teeth come in, it will get better.

You are rocking on all fours and are REALLY close to crawling! I know it won’t be long.

You have started saying “Babababa”, but still haven’t said, “Dada”. We are hoping you will soon. I know someone who will be thrilled when you do! ;)

Your hair is getting so long. You won’t let me put bows or headbands on you anymore, so it constantly stays in your face. I’m hoping that is just a phase because I sure love to dress you up with bows! Your Daddy thinks I have a problem with buying too many bows. :) Don’t tell him, but he may be right…

You LOVE to be outdoors. We bought you a little swimming pool to splash in and you have so much fun in it!

We have been planning your birthday (which is only 3 months away…wow) for a while now. I can’t wait to celebrate your life! Not just on your birthday, but every day that God gives me with you.

You love to zoom around in your baby walker now! Ty and Macie really have to watch out for you, because you tend to run into them when you get to going!

You now weigh 15 lbs 5 oz. You are my tiny girl!

We have started to experiment with solids, which scares and excites me at the same time. You really love to feed yourself and sometimes won’t let me feed your purees at all!

You still nurse every 4 hours and eat 3 “meals” a day. We are planning to wean you when you are a year old (since you absolutely REFUSE a bottle).

I look forward to each day with you, baby girl. You have brought more joy and laughter to our home than I could possibly put into words! I hope you can feel how much you are loved. 

Madeline Rose, I can't believe you are eight months old! What a busy little girl you have become! I LOVE to watch you learn about the world around you. You have become such a little ham too! It is such a joy getting to know you and learn about your personality.

You can wave bye bye, when you want to.
You are saying "Mama" ALL the time now! Talk about melting my heart...
At our last doctor appointment you weighed in at 15 lbs and 2 oz, 24 inches long.
You eat three meals at day, nurse every 4 hours, and snack in the afternoons.
You have 2 bottom teeth, which are incredibly adorable! I can see a third on the bottom trying to come in and a top one.You absolutely hate when I try to look!
We put a swing on the back porch and you LOVE it.
Peek a Boo is your absolute favorite game to play! I can get a smile out of you every time!
You love to see yourself in the mirror and nearly jump out of my arms every time we get in front of one!
You haven't been sleeping all that well and wake up several times during the night. I think it is because of all those new teeth coming in.
You are SO good whenever I take you out. Everyone always comments on what a sweet baby you are.
Your blue eyes get comments from strangers ALL the time. They are gorgeous!
You love playing with Tupperware, spoons, remotes, and cell phones the most.
I think that you are going to start trying to crawl soon!
You love to squeal and make loud noises. This tickles your Daddy and I!
We are still using cloth diapers and love them!

Sweetheart, you bring so much joy to our lives. We thank God for you EVERY day. I can't believe that He would bless us so richly! You are fearfully and wonderfully made, indeed.
